Calle de Manhattan con tráfico en un día nublado

Most airport rides should be flat rate. Some should not. The math is simple once you see it, and every number below is on our rates page.

The case for flat rate

A flat JFK to Manhattan transfer is one number, tolls included, agreed before the car moves. Traffic on the Van Wyck is our problem, not yours. If your trip is airport to door, flat rate wins almost every time.

When hourly is smarter

Hourly service has a two-hour minimum and bills to the minute after that. It wins the moment your trip has more than one stop. Landing at JFK, dropping bags at the hotel, then a meeting in Midtown is two flat rates or roughly two hours on the clock. The clock is usually cheaper, and the car waits with your luggage in it.

Real numbers

JFK to Manhattan is $129 flat. The Executive Sedan is $95 per hour. If your airport run is really an airport-hotel-office triangle, two hours at $190 beats stacking transfers, and everything after the second stop is effectively free until the clock runs out.

The honest rule

One address: book the flat rate. Two or more addresses inside three hours: book hourly. If you are not sure, tell us the plan and we will quote both.
